Athearn GP Series Stealth Cleaners

Offered as a fully assembled and detailed RTR locomotive with the chassis modified into a track cleaner. These track cleaners are made to roll freely by the removal of the drive shafts and contact strip, which are included. They are equipped with the original live trucks for electrical pickup when adding lights and or sound decoder applications. Made this way, the track cleaner can be pushed by a powered unit and itself will not require clean track. Most importantly the powered units wheels that are pushing the track cleaner will stay clean. You can reinstall the drive shafts and power strip and some extra weight to the loco and use independently or in a consist of locomotives if desired. Minimum radius is 20” Because of the limited runs by the manufacturers, the availability of different road names of these track cleaners are constantly changing.
